The safety plate is a product that allows the Jetslide system to adapt to intermediate lengths of watercrafts without the use of an extra Jetslide.

The installation requires Jetslide lugs and sliding nuts.

Is it safe to walk on the plate?

Absolutely. The plate is constructed from 1/2 inch thick HDPE, making it highly durable. People can walk on it without any issues. While it may flex slightly, this is completely normal and poses no cause for concern.
